The love child of two water signs. SENSIBLE is a magazine that emerged to address feelings in a world that is losing touch. Its intent is to promote sensible conversation at an individual level about current global socio-political issues that generate anxiety for members of society. The theme of its first issue arises from the shared sentiment of anxiety towards the implications of post-truth, a concept that has infiltrated politics and the way society manifests itself in unprecedented ways.

CONTROL, OPPRESSION AND DYSTOPIA /
The so dreaded future is many times a reflexion of the anxieties of its own time. With the intent of creating a catalogue, this project intends to explore this conflict though the resulting duality of control/oppression depicted in sci-fi cinema.
It compiles eight dystopian sci-fi movies that articulate in different ways the same duplicity. From this selection, the editorial object is formed by three books, one containing symbolic quotes of the system of control from each movie and the other of its ensuing oppression. Here, each film
is deconstructed and reduced to its essencial, recreating the atmosphere of each piece.
The third book contains the different core motifs that represent the way in which each dystopia is articulated. The development and final product of this project curiously evidences the homogeneity of certain aspects of the pieces.
